A Southern Belle

This past Sunday I did my first Character Sketch. I was so nervous! But thankfully it went well. I hope you enjoy it and that you will be richly blessed!        THE STORY OF JOHN & BETTY STAM Betty held her baby in her arms, singing softly to this infant child, all to aware that this was their last night together.  Her husband John, tied to a bedpost, could not sleep either. Only two weeks before they had arrived at their mission station with three month old Helen Priscilla, full of hope and eager for ministry. But on this cold winter night, their quiet lullabies were a parting sorrow, for tomorrow they would die. Elisabeth Alden was born on February 22, 1906. She was the daughter of missionary parents in China. When her family returned to the states she enrolled in Wilson Collage in Pennsylvania, from which she graduated. Knowing that she needed more preparation for the mission field, she then went to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. It was there that she met John Stam

God created this amazing relationship called sisters.  We live together, play together, fight together, worship together and grow up together.  I have two sisters and its been so much fun to become closer through the years.  We aren't just sisters--we are best friends and no matter what happens we will always be there for each other.  I'm not sure when this picture was but it was around 2011-2013 Bess and I at her last recital las May Grabbing lunch during our home remodel. This picture was taken in April of last year And this is a recent picture, taken on my grandmothers birthday. All I can say is I thank God for my sisters and all my family. Your Friend, Haviland~

Dear Readers, Happy Valentines Day! I hope ya'll had the most wonderful day! We had the most enjoyable dinner! My parents were tired and wanted to have a relaxing dinner with us children, and oh we had a wonderful time together as a family! Here are some pictures of our evening,                   It was the first time we used this set of plates and goblets it was so exciting!!! I absolutely love goblets!!  I also love candles! Dear Friends, I have finally finished project # 2! It took me longer than what I thought because of the weather. But here it is! We have had this table as long as I can remember, but there was always a tablecloth on it, so when we moved I saw it and had a few ideas for it.  For this project I used: Rust-oleum, Paint + Primer Gloss white. & Behr, Paint + Primer Satin Coral. &  Apple Barrel, Leaf Green Acrylic Paint, water base I don't know yet what the next project will be, but I can't wait! I love taking pictures! Especially of the sky. I love looking and taking pictures of God's awesome creation!! This past Saturday was my Grandma's birthday! I am soooo thankful for her! She is such a cheerful and giving person. we really have been blessed with great grandparents!                                          Isn't she beautiful?!? Grandma, Daughter, and Granddaughters Grandma, and grand Daughters! Mother and Daughters   Thank you Aunt Michelle for the Wonderful Cake!   Yum!!!! :)   I thank God so much for my grandma!
