A Southern Belle

Dear Readers, The past week as been very, very, busy. But it has been a great blessing and a blast!! This past Wednesday we had Sydnie, Hannah, and Liz (Caleb's girlfriend) over to make christmas treats!! YUMMY!!!! All the supplies for the delicious treats Bethany melting chocolate.... yum!!!! The two nuts lol these two were the life of the party! lol  spreading the peppermint bark Liz stirring the chocolate.  Everyone working together  samoa balls! *sigh* sooooooooo good!!! Homemade chocolate kisses! Pecan turtles! All the goodies! In the end we had Cracker Candy, Oreo truffles, chocolate truffles, samoa balls, pecan turtles, sugared pecans, holiday cookies and all very DELICIOUS!!! We all had a wonderful time and I hope that everyone will like it!  On a totally different note....... A good friend of the family got married this past weekend!!! Miss. Elizabeth Huendo married Mr. Cory Spiers! We got to Spruce Pine, NC

Dear Reader, As Christmas draws closer, we have been preparing for the big day! It's mind blowing how fast this year has flown by! What a busy year, but what a wonderful year!!! I hope everyone has had a wonderful year!  Anyways.... back to our Christmas prep... Last Friday we had the Gardner's over for dinner, and to decorate our christmas tree's. What a wonderful time we had!!! Dear Readers, This past week we celebrated the birthday of my darlin' niece Hailey!!!! She is turning into a beautiful little lady and I'm so proud to be her aunt! This is an old picture but I couldn't help but post it, she looks so cute! When she came over one day, she got to dress up, and like any girl she had a blast! Not the best picture, but this was taken at "Uncle Caleb's" graduation. A field trip with "mommy"!  School pictures!!! I'm so proud of this girl and so happy she is part of the family!! Dear Readers, We had the privilege to go with some wonderful friends to North Carolina to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Cataloochee North Carolina to see the elk and hear them "bugle"!!  We got to see a lot of elk and some really close which was sooooooo exciting!!! Plus we got to see some historic places such as an old house and church ect.  and also fellowship with our wonderful friends :) The beautiful view of the mountains!
