Dear Readers, We had the privilege to go with some wonderful friends to North Carolina to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Cataloochee North Carolina to see the elk and hear them "bugle"!! We got to see a lot of elk and some really close which was sooooooo exciting!!! Plus we got to see some historic places such as an old house and church ect. and also fellowship with our wonderful friends :) The beautiful view of the mountains! The creek We got to visit an old house which was on the property. The kids with one of the friends The picture quality isn't the best :( The house from the street There was the beautiful barn across the house and of course my mother (and theirs) wanted a picture :) A beautiful church! This church had wonderful acoustics and we had so much fun singing in it! Now I'm sure you dyeing to see some pictures of the elk so here you go! This is a male elk, he was huge! This
