A Southern Belle

Dear Readers, We had the privilege to go with some wonderful friends to North Carolina to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Cataloochee North Carolina to see the elk and hear them "bugle"!!  We got to see a lot of elk and some really close which was sooooooo exciting!!! Plus we got to see some historic places such as an old house and church ect.  and also fellowship with our wonderful friends :) The beautiful view of the mountains! The creek  We got to visit an old house which was on the property. The kids with one of the friends The picture quality isn't the best :(  The house from the street There was the beautiful barn across the house and of course my mother (and theirs) wanted a picture :) A beautiful church! This church had wonderful acoustics and we had so much fun singing in it! Now I'm sure you dyeing to see some pictures of the elk so here you go!  This is a male elk, he was huge!...

Dear Readers, My brother and his family have been here for several weeks and we have had such a wonderful time!!!! All the nephew's with the aunts and uncles It's crazy to see how fast these boys are growing! Hayden (the eldest) is almost as tall as me...... thats not saying much is it? LOL     Silly boy LOL We all went swimming and what a blast we had! (My brother and some of the his boys) All the nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles! I'm so happy their here and can't wait to spend more time with them!! I'll post some more pictures and soon as I can get all of them, and when I have more time LOL. Till next time! May God bless you! Dear Readers, As I was looking at the baby pictures of my little sister Victoria, I couldn't help sharing it with you! Victoria was born in June.  For a very long time I had been praying for a little sister and God blessed me with the best sisters! Oh my Goodness! wasn't she adorable?!?!?! Her Beautiful smile! As a little girl my sister absolutely LOVED our dog and always wanted be with him! as you can see. :)  And of course my sister is a typical  Franco LOL Our princess in shining armor? Dear Reader, Here is my newest project! It's a little table which we have had for as long as I remember!  It really.........needed some help (At least I thought so LOL).  So here it is:                                                              Do you agree with me? LOL Because this is going in my room I painted the top coral. (My room is blue and coral) Really, all I did was give it a fresh coat of white and Painted the top coral. Not that hard, right?   For this project I used: Rust-oluem, Paint + Primer Gloss White Behr, Paint + Primer Satin Coral Please tell me what you think! I can't wait to see what my next project is! Dear Readers, I wanted to post earlier, but I have been so busy I haven't had time till now, so please forgive me for this late post! Last Friday we had a surprise Mothers day dinner for my mother. She was so surprised! Top: The children did a wonderful job of setting the table! Bottom: The wonderful food my sister cooked!   The beautiful Flowers the my brother bought my mother! We children and my dad bought my mother a necklace. Dear Readers, I don't know about you but I'm really enjoying this wonderful warm weather! I can't wait to see what God has for my family and myself this summer/ year! Dear Friends, Last week my mother and I were able to visit my beautiful Grandmother! It's always so nice to see her! She is such a sweet loving woman! I truly have the best grandma EVER! ( I might be partial LOL) Anyways, one of her hobbies has been gardening, but due to having broken her ankle while doing that, she has had to slow down and not do as much has she had been. But she still has a beautiful garden and I couldn't help but take pictures and share it with you! It was so good to see her.  She is such a blessing & I am so blessed with wonderful grandparents!
