Project #3

Dear Reader,

Here is my newest project! It's a little table which we have had for as long as I remember!  It really.........needed some help (At least I thought so LOL).  So here it is:


                                                             Do you agree with me? LOL

Because this is going in my room I painted the top coral.
(My room is blue and coral)

Really, all I did was give it a fresh coat of white and Painted the top coral. Not that hard, right?  

For this project I used:

Rust-oluem, Paint + Primer Gloss White

Behr, Paint + Primer Satin Coral

Apple Crisp Delight

  I have recently taken a sabbatical from working full-time and found joy and peace in being a full-time housekeeper for a short time. The desire to keep a consistent routine, budget, and menu is incredible. I have always struggled to plan meals and to be creative in the kitchen. Pinterest has been a great tool in helping me with great recipes.  I have been trying to prepare one dessert a week. This past week, I found the best Apple Crisp recipe and I just had to share!  APPLE CRISP

Coffee Cake

 Dear Readers, I have a pot of coffee brewing and the windows open to have fresh air in the house for when my husband gets home from work. The birds are beginning to return from their winter trip and it has been such a blessing to hear them praise the Lord throughout the day! I thought I would sit down for a few minuets to post the coffee cake recipe that I promised on the last post. SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE Ingredients: 3 C. Flour 1 C. Softened Butter 1 Tsp. Baking Powder 1 Tsp. Salt 1 C. Sour Cream 1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda 1 1/2 C. Sugar 3 Eggs 2 Tsp. Vanilla Sugar and cinnamon to sprinkle between layers. Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a tube pan. In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream and baking soda. In a mixer, beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. ( You can never have to much vanilla! ;)) Add flour in 3 additions, alternating with the sour cream mixtures in 2 additions, beginning and end...
